It’s Manic Monday folks and apart from being the 15th anniversary of the Gilmore Girls, today is the day before the Mad Hatter Day!
On October 6th we celebrate the Mad Hatter and his brilliant lunacy. He made his first appearance in 1865, when Lewis Carroll published his famous novel Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with illustrations by Sir John Tenniel. This is the very first image of the Mad Hatter as he appeared in the original version of the novel.

Throughout the years there have been multiple movie adaptations of Alice’s Adventures. From Disney’s animated comedy to Burton’s more surreal version of a darker Wonderland – the Mad Hatter and his Tea Party are always there and grant us our desired dose of madness.
After all, we are all mad here, right?
